CONTINUING THE TRADITION
The team slogan for the 2012 season was “Continuing the Tradition” and the 2012 Mustangs did just that finishing the 2012 regular season with a 13-6 record and a berth into the 5A State Playoffs. The playoff brackets will be released on Monday, May 7th and the Mustangs will look to use the heart and perseverance that led them all season to make a run in the state tournament.
Walk-Off Home Run Sparks Ponderosa Over Regis
The Varsity Baseball Team got a huge win over Regis Jesuit 7-5 with a walk-off home run in the Bottom of the 7th. The Mustangs improve to 11-5 overall and 5-3 in the extremely difficult Continental League. The Mustangs now take aim at their final three regular season games as they make a push to qualify for the 5A State Tournament. The Mustangs will travel Friday to ThunderRidge, host Douglas County next Monday and end the regular season next Wednesday at Legend. Go Mustangs!
