Indoor Practice Facility

The Ponderosa Diamond Club and FloJen Enterprises (owners of 18425 Pony Express Dr.) are please to announce the re-opening of the 4,000 square foot indoor practice facility on November 28, 2011.

We are excited to offer the use of this facility from November 28, 2011 through at least April 30, 2012 for individual players to use during open field times. Open field times for December are Monday though Friday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  January though March open field times are on Saturday and Sunday.  Times TBD.  Contact Tricia McCarthy at This email address is being protected from spambots. Facility Amenities

The facility is located in Parker at 18425 Pony Express Drive (west of the Post Office, in a new building at the NE corner of S. Twenty Mile Rd. and Pony Express Drive), and is equipped with the following amenities:

• Three (3) 70' x 14' x 12' tunnels which can be divided into six (6) 35' tunnels
• Two (2) 60' 6" dirt mounds
• Two (2) portable pitching mounds

This space is designed to keep an entire team busy with several flexible practice stations. The facility is designed to allow for productive/busy practices. Movable netting allows for flexible practice space. The pitching stations can be configured to utilize the permanent dirt mounds or portable pitching mounds. The space is equipped with L screens, hitting T's, and catch nets. Baseballs are not included this year but will be available for rent by the bucket.

Rentals

The space is rented by the hour, 7 days a week until 10pm. The facility is rented for full use by a single team not to exceed 15 players; partial use by two teams (one tunnel, one pitching mound and community area use); and open field use for the individual players.

The cost includes the use of hitting T's, catch nets, L screens. Rate discounts are offered when a qualifying number of hours are both reserved and paid for at the same time. Here is a pricing breakdown:

Full Use Rates

• 1-10 hours = $90/hour
• 11-20 hours = $85/hour
• 21+ hours = $80/hour

• 5% cash back for referred teams bookings of 10 or more hours. Cash back to be paid out when referred teams make full payment of reserved hours.
• One hour free for referred team bookings 10 or more hours. Free hour to be used after February and subject to available times.

2. All teams must supply a certificate of liability from the organization and a signed waivers for each player. See waiver form.

Rules and Regulations for Use of Indoor Baseball Facility
Located at 18425 Pony Express Dr. Parker, CO 80134

1. First time users must undergo a brief equipment orientation with the staff.
2. On-site adult coach or agent of the team required at all times.
3. Adults are responsible for the actions of the youths at the facility. Misconduct will result in immediate termination of the privileges with no refund. Teams are to respect the quiet enjoyment of Management’s other Tenants.
4. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times including but not limited to closed toe athletic shoes.
5. Helmets must be worn at all times in the tunnels.
6. Spectators and those not batting or pitching need to stand outside the netted area.
7. The only people swinging bats are those in the tunnels or other designated hitting areas.
8. Once your time is up, clean up all balls and equipment and exit the area.
9. No baseball or loitering allowed in the parking lot.
10. No smoking allowed in the facility.
11. Fee must be paid and waiver form must be signed before using the facility. If the participant is under 18 years of age, the parent or guardian must sign waiver.
12. Certain teams may be given the responsibility to lock the facility. Those teams promise to lock and secure the facility each night of use.
13. Management shall have the right to amend, modify or change in any way the rules and regulations of the facility and teams agree to abide by the changes.
